A house under construction on the comer of Duncan and Grey Streets in Raetihi was broken into overnight on Friday. Sometime between Friday and Sunday mornings, a red Honda 3-wheeI farm bike was stolen from a Mangateitei Road, Ohakune property. Police enquiries are continuing. A house in George Street, Raetihi was broken into and a large quantity of cash taken, sometime between Saturday morning and midday Sunday. At 12.15 a.m. Saturday morning, Ohakune Police attended a motor vehicle accident on Raetihi Road. The driver of the light van that left the road was uninjured and little damage resulted to the vehicle. Ohakune Police arrested a 16-year old Pipiriki youth last Friday in connection with a recent burglary. The youth will be appearing in the Ohakune Children's Court on 25 June. An investigation into the recent burglary of the Pipiriki tearooms is underway. The incident occurred sometime between 22 and 25 May, with confectionery and other foodstuffs taken in the break-in. *■ Police enquiries are continuing.
