The 2nd Pennant was played at Mangamahu on Monday 13 April in which the Waimarino played Wanganui. The results of this are as follows: K. Greenwood 4'A. A. Law 9, V. Whale 8'/2, B. Dempsey 9>A. D. Deighton 9'A. Mangamahu 57. Wanganui 49. Tawhero 45 >h. Castlecliff 44 '/2. Waimarino 41. Marton 33. After 2 rounds the results were: Wanganui 99. Mangamahu 95. Waimarino 93. Marton 8T/2. Castlecliff 841/2. Tawhero 81. The 1st round of the Toanui Trophy was held on 15 April and winners were G. Fraser, B. Dempsey, J. Taylor. H. Woollett, H. Cranston, K. Greenwood.
