The squad chosen for training for the Wanganui Representative Rugby team are as follows: K. Willis, Kaerau; T. Pokia, Wanganui Pirates; J. Coleman, Hunterville; R. Harding, Ohakune-Karioi; M. Morahan, Marist; D. Addenbrooke, Kaerau; T. Leiasanaivao, Wanganui H.S.O.B.; W. Taike, Utiku; T. Olney, Marist; T. Davis, Marist; P. Kemp, Marton OB; J. Karatau, W.H.S. O.B.; K. Whale, W.H.S.O.B.; M. Williams, W.H.S.O.B.; M. Thompson, Wanganui Pirates; G. Harrison, M.O.B.; D. Young, Wang.
Pirates; F. Horrocks, Counties; K. Saville, Kaerau; D. Mana, W.H.S.O.B.; T. Fearn, Marist; W. Maunsell, Waiouru; H. Kana, W.H.S. O.B.; T. Sua and S. Sua, Marist; S. Lockett, Kaerau; L. Harding, OhakuneKarioi. A. Donald and J. Hainsworth were not considered for the team because of their commitment to the New Zealand zone trials. This squad will train at 7.00pm at Wanganui Boys College on Wednesday 21 April. From this squad a team of 21 will be selected to play Taranaki on Sunday.
