Eric Fetzer receives a birthday greeting from fire chief Max Martin at Waimarino Hospital last week. Eric's 87th birthday was one callout for the Brigade the siren didn't go up for, though Max Martin's fire extinguisher did come in handy when the 87 candles on Eric's birthday cake nearly caused a conflagration in the ward!
