Ohakune Bowls team still winning

The Ohakune Women's Bowling Club are still maintaining their edge over all competing clubs for the Simonsen Cup and the Pluck Cup, with two more wins notched up recently. Ohakune faced challengers Nelson Street and St. John's Hill last week and emerged victorious from both meets.

All of the ladies are working very hard and with great consistency in an attempt to hold both trophies for the rest of the season which ends in April. The club has just two more challenges which will decide who holds the cups until next season. A Club singles game for the Tocker Trophy was won by long-time player and greenkeeper Pat Whale.
