Ohakune Police are investigating two incidents of burglary over the weekend and one case last week. The Kings Picture Theatre in Goldfinch Street, Ohakune was broken into sometime last week and a quantity of confectionery stolen. A small amount of change was taken during a break-in of Machinery Supplies Ltd on the corner of Goldfinch and Clyde Streets and some drycleaning was stolen from Kapai Books Toys and Gift Shop in Goldfinch Street. ★ ★ ★ Police are investigating the theft of a ladies 10-speed bicycle from a Clyde Street business sometime between
Monday and Wednesday last week. "3 *) The bicycle has chrof front-forks and a silver seat. Anyone knowing the whereabouts of the vehicle are asked to contact the Ohakune Police Station. ★ ★ ★ Raetihi Police are investigating the theft of a ladies shoulder bag stolen from an Islington Street residence in Raetihi on Wednesday. ★ ★ ★ The local Police Youth Aid Section are presently dealing with four children found breaking windows of a display home on the corner of Lee Street and Mangawhero Terrace last week. Eight windows were damaged in total. ★ ★ ★ An 1 8-year old female will be appearing in the Ohakune District Court on Thursday 26 March, for the theft of an engagement ring from an Ohakune residence last week. The ring was handed in to the Taumarunui Police after being found by a member of the public in Taumarunui.
