Mill Manager Kit Wilson presented the computers to each school at separate assemblies which were attended by teachers and students. Ohakune School chose an Apple 1 le computer for their use while Raetihi School chose two Commodore 64's, both models being popular standard computers on the market. With a contribution of $450 from the Ohakune School PTA, the school was also able to purchase a disc drive and printer plus some software. Ohakune School's princi-

pal Ross Richdale. is delighted with the new addition to the facilities and sees some tremendous possibilities for future education.

The computer will be invaluable for children needing remedial reading. extra tuition in maths or any other subject.
