Charge for Bulletin
From April onwards the Waimarino Bulletin will no longer be a free newspaper but will be available to Waimarino readers for twenty five cents per copy. It will still be possible to have the Bulletin delivered to your home for a yearly subscription of only $12. The Bulletin will also be on sale at various retail outlets each week for 25e. Up until now the production and printing costs of the Bulletin have been borne by the local businesses through their advertising but with rising costs in all areas of production we have had to
look to this additional source of revenue. A majorconcern has been the number of copies of the Bulletin that we have been printing. We are at present printing 800 to 1000 surplus copies for the region, with two and sometimes three copies ending up in some households. We are working hard to provide an interesting and entertaining medium for local news. views and ideas and trust you will accept this small charge and continue to support the Waimarino Bulletin, your community newspaper. Subscription details will be in the classified section of next week's paper.
