Pipiriki School F2 pupil, Tracey Tuirirangi, received a book gift from the teachers and pupils of Pipiriki School. Every child was presented with a merit certificate, complimenting them on individual attributes, including best attendance, the most polite, best banker, etc. Three children received special awards of merit for their posters designed to publicise the Drink/ Drive/Die campaign in the Wanganui region. Melissa Martin, 5, Rene TeHuia, 7, and Raina Tuirirangi, 8, attended the presentation in Wanganui on Monday. Ngamatea School The Ngamatea School children were each presented with a merit certificate, in recognition of work over the year. Senior Pet Day Prize: Anita McDonnel; Junior Prize: McAlistair Beatson; Senior Speech Prize: Belinda Hounsell; Junior Speech Prize: Kimberlee Hoffman and Brad Nelson, 1st equal.
