SPCA OFFER PET CARE SERVICE
A pet-feeding service is being offered to Waimarino residents by the local SPCA for the duration of the Christmas holidays. Those planning to spend some time away from home this Christmas should also plan their pets' holiday and make arrangements for them to be fed and well looked after. Ohakune, Raetihi and Waiouru are well maintained by SPCA members Rosalind Donald and Tana Klaricich who offer to walk dogs and feed pets at the minimalcost of$l a day for cats and $2 a day for dogs. It is a sad fact, as the result of a lack of foresight by their owners, many animals are neglected over the festive season while the rest of us enjoy ourselves.
