DANGEROUS DETONATORS MISSING

Ohakune Policeare investigating the disappeararfce of 15-20 detonators from a property in Lakes Road. Ohakune. The detonators are about 3cm in length. silver in appearance and hollow at one end. There is concern that the detonator may fall into the hands of children; they can cause serious hand and eye injuries and can be discharged through careless handling. The public are urged to contact their nearest police station if they know the whereabouts of these harmless looking but potentially lethal explosives.
