Christian Women's Breakfast

'Women in the body of Christ', was just one of the many topics discussed at the recent Christian Women's Breakfast, held at the Lion's Den in Ohakune. Thirty-five Waimarino ladies attended the function and were addressed by spea-

kers from the Bay of Plenty "Women's Aglo Fellowship". Mrs Katherine Crossman and Mrs Wendy Scott, the Chapter President, spoke to the gathering about encouraging one another and offering support to others of the Christian religion.

The evening discussion which was well attended concerned Christian women in marriage. Both guest speakers also addressed a gathering at Sunday service. Thanks are extended to the Ruapehu Lion's Club for the use of the hall and to Johnny Nation for the meal.
