Incident free fireworks night

Karl, 13, and Rory Pearson, 2, of Ohakune pose with their Guy which took hours to make. At this stage they were looking for a community bonfire to burn it on but they had no luck so gave it away. The evening passed relatively quietly in the Waimarino. In Waiouru police received one complaint about noise but in Ohakune, Raetihi and National Park no problems were reported. Police said they had a good look round ... everyone was well behaved and there was nothing to complain about.
