Former Bulletin editor Chris Ryan was farewelled by staff in the 'traditional' manner when he left to return to Wellington at the end of last month. Despite protesting vigourously he was tied to a chair and wheeled out onto the footpath outside the office so that he could be photographed for posterity. He refused to be wheeled around town... understandably!
