New principal welcomed
Ohakune School welcomed its new principal, Ross Richdale from Hawera, yesterday morning. Mr Richdale, accompanied by past principal Bill Taylor, and local kaumatua Matthew Mareikura and Lei Mareikura, was welcomed by an
action song performed by the whole school. The guests watched two more numbers by the school and then Matthew and Lei Mareikura replied. Bill Taylor and teachers Jerry Bidwell and Gordon Pepere spoke in welcome.
