Waimarino election nominations

Sitting Ohakune Mayor Biil Taylor has competition in the October's local body elections in the form of property developer Jim Goldfinch. Mr Goldfinch says that he is interested in the job and feels he can do it. "I was chairman of the Ruapehu College hoard of governors when we were responsible for handling large amounts of money," he said. and Ken Summerhays have been renominated. New nominations include Barbara Dobson. Vic Taiaroa. Paul Dekker. and Elizabeth Ryland.
