Pipiriki lodge?

A new plan to build a tourist lodge with rooms for 30 guests is to be considered by the Waimarino County Council. The Watworth Partnership hopes to build the lodge on a 130 acres site on freehold property a short distance down the Wanganui River road from Pipiriki. A spokesman said that plans were already drawn up and that the lodge would include a licensed restaurant. The proposal is subject to planning consent and objections are to close with the Waimarino County Council on 15 September.
