Waimarino golf

Results of Sunday's golf at the Waimarino Golf Club were as follows: Competition was a par round for the Rangiwaea Trophy. This was won by Betty Strachan and Gary Imhoff 3 up. Men's result was R. Pearson and T. Tapp 9 up. Senior competition results, B. Drinkwater 3 up, K. Summerhays one up, T. Tapp all square, J. Summerhays all square, J. Ennis one down, S. Swarbrick one

down, P. Goldfinch one down. Junior results, v McDougall one down, c. Heinold one down. Twos scored by R. Pearson on the ninth hole. The club will be travelling to Taumarunui on 10 August for the Manson Cup. The Pennant Team to play Tawhero at Marton next weekend consists of J. Summerhays, S. Swarbrick, G. Allerby, N. Cranston, D. Windle, J. Ennis, T. Tapp, S. Magee, K. Summerhays.
