How to give up smoking
After the success of the Great New Zealand -Smoke-free Week another chance is coming up for those who would like to kick the smoking habit. A Stop Smoking course is to be held next week in Raetihi conducted by a Seventh Day Adventist group from Wanganui. The group has had a lot of success with the course which does not contain any religous content. The course takes place over five evenings between 7.30pm and 9pm from Sunday 20 July to Thursday 24 July. Activities include discussion, videos and study of phototcopied material. All age groups are welcome to attend. To enrol in the course all you have to do is turn up on Sunday evening. Further information may be obtained from public health nurse Leigh Berry, telephone 54-400. The course will be held in the Gospel Chapel Hall, Queen Street Raetihi, and the cost is $3 per session to cover costs.
