Tumblers perform well

Last weekend senior Turoa Tumblers gymnasts travelled to Hamilton to take part in the Waikato Championships. Carys Hubbard brought home the bronze medal and scored nine to win beam in grade 3. Dean Drayton, National Youth Open Grade came second on floor ancf third equal on vault, while Sue Mcllroy performed well to achieve the qualifying mark in grade 2. The junior girls competed in Palmerston North. There the grade 7 team of Melanie

Hill, Terina and Coralie Abbott came third. Kirsty Mcllroy won the vault, came third on beam and was

placed third overall in Grade 7. A worthwhile weekend of gymnastics!
