Waiouru theatre club
The Waiouru Theatre Club is getting under way again after several false starts. Spokesan Mike Yarwood said that the club had gradually built up a following and now felt confident enough to plan for a production, probably in November. The director will be Judy Yarwood, who has experience with several other productions. Auditions will be held on 21 July in the Waiouru Community Cen-
tre at 7.30pm. These are open to all in the district, not just Army personnel. The choice of play has yet to be decided and will depend on how many potential actors turn up Mr Yarwood said that the club just wanted to get off the ground and did not intend to try anything too ambitious. So come on you Waimarino people who have a secret urge to tread the boards! Here's your chance!
