Mountain Road
Chairman of the Waimarino County's works committee Cr John Martin informed the council that it had proved impracticable to set a toll on the Ohakune Mountain Road. As the only way this could be done was by an act of Parliament, he said there was no point in continuing with investigations into the matter.
