Infertility

The first week in June turned up another first in Waiouru, this was the inaugural meeting of the Waiouru Infertility Support Group, a sub-group of the newly established Wellington Infertility Society. Infertility affects one in ten couples and is fast becoming a major health problem. The role of a support group is to put people with similar problems in contact with each other, keep them up to date with new medical procedures or just to sit and talk to each other. We will be holding monthly meetings at the Community Health Centre in Queree Drive, Waiouru and anyone with problems associated with infertility is welcome. Our next meeting will be on Tuesday I July at 7.30pm. If you would like further information please ring Waiouru 56-111 ext. 5 17. Leave your first name and contact phone number and a group member will contact you.
