Sexist advertising

Dear Sir, We would like to point out to you that the usually high standard of your community newspaper slipped somewhat on page 7 of the last issue. Your ran a blatantly sexist advertisement for a dance revue. "N.Z. tease tour" and "s-i-n-sational" were some of the words used, not to mention the photo. This type of advertising is insulting to women and only serves to perpepuate the stereo type that women are primarily sex objects, not intelligent human beings. We feel a community paper should set high standards - not lower them.
