Basketball marathon
The Ruapehu College basketball team will hold a 24-hour marathon shortly to help raise funds for new team uniforms. Starting in the afternoon of Saturday 21 June, team members will play non-stop basketball with teams from Taihape, Waiouru and other local teams, for 24 hours. The event will be held in the college gymnasium. Team members hope to get sponsors for the marathon.
