Polocrosse AGM
The Waimarino Polocrosse Club were disappointed at the late notification of selection of their representative players for the national competition. Three players were selected by the WanganuiWaimarino Association but they were notified so late that they were unable to train for the competition. At the Waimarino club's annual general meeting last week it was decided to complain at the WanganuiWaimarino AGM in June.
President of the club, Harvey Godfrey congratulated the three players who attended the nationals. The club had a mixed season, it was reported, but an enjoyable one. They will begin training for next season in November. It is uncertain where the club will practise this year. Harvey Godfrey was reelected president of the club, Cathy McLean elected secretary, Enid Windle club captain and Bernice Frost publicity officer.
