Sport Aid
Contributions to the world-wide Sport Aid apeal in the Waimarino were made at rugby matches in Ohakune and Raetihi. Spectators at Rochfort Park, Ohakune, contributed $83 while $86 was collected at Raetihi. Nationwide New Zealand Sport Aid raised over a million dollars for the appeal for development in Africa.
