Round of the ladies interclub competition was played at Palmerston North against Parkview Squash Club. In closely fought matches, Waimarino was unable to clinch the win and went down 3 games to 2. Results Lesley Todd (D2) lost to P. Cole (E>) 9/3 4/9 8/ 10 9/ 1 8/10, Noeline Pikari (D2) beat C. Johnston (E1) 9/1 9/5 10/9, Joy Crowley (E1) lost to D. Treloar (E2) 2/9 9/7 7/9 9/4 4/9, Vicki Pearce (F1) beat A. Dilks (E2) 7/99/04/99/ 1 9/0,Carol Leary (F1) lost to J. Cornwell (E2) 9/3 6/9 5/9 10/8 7/9.
