Raetihi pool enclosure underway
Fund-raising for the enclosure of the Raetihi Pool is about to begin. A pool enclosure committee which was formed at a meeting last week, will meet again this week to decide details of the fund-raising campaign. Chairman of the committee is Lance Langdon, secretary Mike Hogan, and treaisurer Shirley McDonough. Committee members are Steve Hawira, Cynthia Binzegger, Rhona Te Huia, Keith Kui junior and Wendy Davis. Lance Langdon, who has worked hard to get the committee together, said he was delighted at the response from the meeting and is looking forward to getting the fund-raising going. There were 25 people present at last Monday's meeting, including the Mayor of Raetihi, Garrick Workman.
