R.E.A.P. offers screen printing course

R.E.A.P. has organised a half-day course on screenprinting. The proposed course will be to teach all the basic skills of screenprinting. Students will learn how to make the screens, cut stencils, make them up and print in one or two colours. Screenprinting is an ideal medium for making cards, letterheads, personalised gifts etc and can be done with a minimum of skills. All students need to'bring along are their ideas. All the screens that are made will remain the property of the students to keep and use in the future. If students have any specific items (e.g. clothing, tablecloths etc) which they'd like to print, they are invited to bring them along; but all clothing items must be capable of being hot ironed e.g. cotton mixtures. All materials for the course will be supplied, except protective covering (apron, shirt, etc). Learn a skill, expand your activities. Come and have a go at screenprinting on Saturday 5 April. Enquiries can be made at the R.E.A.P. office (see classified advertisement for details).
