Champions coming

Two of the best New Zealand provincial softball teams, Wellington and Hutt Valley, will be playing a demonstration game at Patterson Field, Waiouru, on Saturday 5 April at 2pm. Jimmy Seaman, the son of Waimarino Association committee member Roy Seaman and pitcher for Hutt City United, will be in the Hutt Valley team. In the evening the Waimarino association will be holding its end of year social and prizegiving. Mark Sorenson, and other members of the world championship winning New Zealand team, will present some of the prizes.
