Park interpreter way to fresh fields
Annabelle White, park interpreter at Tongariro National Park headquarters for the past four years, has moved on to new things. She headed back south iast week to help her brothers on a new apple orchard at Lowburn, north of Rangiora. She says she has enjoyed her four years here and will miss Tongariro, the job and the people, though "her heart remained in the South Island." Her work as interpreter included publications, school talks and walks, and general park information.
