REAP committees need members
The Rural Education Acti vities Programme community education service is concerned that it may not be giving the community what it wants. In a letter recently received by local contact person Nita Wilde, REAP organisers said that offcampus committees which meet Wanganui Community College representatives once a term, were steadily losing members. They suggest that memb-
ers of each community area, Ohakune-Raetihi, Waiouru and Taihape, meet every six weeks to discuss what courses and activities are needed. They also suggested the the Women in Agriculture (Wag) groups merge with the community education i committees to cut down on meetings. However, some of the meetings would focus on Wag concerns. A meeting for the Oha-
kune-Raetihi area will be held on Tuesday 11 March at Nita Wilde's home. Contact Ohakune Photo Pharmacy for further information.
