Rangataua School resealing

Rangataua School is to have its entrance-parking area resealed after the Wanganui Education Board approved the work and offered $500 towards the cost. The Waimarino County Council had agreed to carry out the work as its share, and decided at a recent meeting to go ahead with it as soon as possible. The board also asked the county whether they would be prepared to seal the driveway of the school house at the same time, at the expense of the board, and asked for a quote on likely cost. The secretary of the Rangataua School Committee, Beth Becker, in a letter to the council, said that the committee was very grateful to the council for sharing the cost of sealing the entranceparking area.
