Tearooms burgled at Pipiriki
The Wainui Arua Takeaway Bar at Pipiriki, owned by the Taurerewa family, was burgled and ransacked last week. The shop, housed in a caravan, is one of two shops at Pipiriki. Intruders broke windows, took money from the till and stole the stock. Mr Whattie Taurerewa said that it was the fifth time the shop had been broken into and now the caravan has been moved away from its site next to the public shelter.
