Staff shortage at county office

Hope Vaughan, clerk for the Waimarino County, told a recent county council meeting that staffing problems had presented difficulties since the Christmas break. Two staff have been sick and this has placed pressure on the administration centre. In addition Mrs Tamati, the minutes clerk, recently resigned to accompany her husband to Palmerston North. Her position was advertised last week.
