Charity golf postponed
Strong winds led to the postponement of the Ohakune-Karioi Rugby Club's annual Charity Golf Tournament which was to have been held last Sunday. President Bill Harding made the decision to postpone the tournament after he spoke to the Waiouru Military Camp Meteorological office in Waiouru who told him winds were expected to gust up to 40 knots in the town. Organisers are meeting this week to decide when the rescheduled tournament will take place.
