Poor response kills course
The ambitious National Park summer school programme planned by the Rural Education Activities Programme (REAP) for January this year was almost entirely cancelled due to lack of interest. The programme was to cover a wide range of subjects including dance, drama, current affairs, arts and crafts, but in the end only the sailing courses on Lake Taupo went ahead.
