Paki-Pole wedding
Sheree Paki, the eldest daughter of Rangi and Debbie Paki of Ohakune, married Brendan Pole of Puhoi recently, in an outdoor setting near the Ohakune Ranger Station. Both Sheree and Brendan are hairdressers and Sheree has been in Auckland for the last four years doing her hairdressing apprenticeship. Sheree's uncle, Isaac Hunter, minister of the Ratana Church at Waiouru, officiated at the service. Chief bridesmaid was Sheree's sister, Rose Marie
Puhoi, and other members of the wedding party were Joanne Pole, Melinda Kewa and junior bridesmaid, Rochelle Paki. Gus Tunuvasia was the groomsman, Lewis Hunter the ring bearer and Dion and Craig Paki were also members of the party. After the wedding, 200 guests attended the wedding reception at the Tirorangi Marae. The couple will live in Auckland and continue with their hairdressing professions.
