Ohakune Borough Council NOTICE FOR PAYMENT OF RATES 1985/86 The Ohakune Borough Councjl advises that all Rates are due on or before the 31st January 1986. In accordance with the Rating Act, any Rates unpaid after this date shall have a penalty of 10% added. E. M. MOORE (Mrs) Town Clerk RESERVES ACT 1977 Preparation of Management Plans Under the Reserves Act 1977, Local Authorities are required to produce management plans for the reserves under their control. The Ohakune Borough Council is in the process of preparing these plans for the reserves listed below: 1. (a) Rochfort Park — Recreation Reserve (b) Ohakune Domain — Recreation/Scenic Reserve 2. Jubilee Park — Recreation/Scenic Reserve 3. Christie Park — Recreation Reserve Work began on these plans in 1981 and in order to update information received from the public at that time, a second opportunity is offered to you to make suggestions relating to the use of these reserves. Management plans are used as a set of objectives, against which new ideas for the use of the reserve in question can be judged. Your ideas will be used in the drawing up of these plans in order to ensure 'the reserves meet the needs of the local people. The management plans are designed to ensure that the use, enjoyment, development, maintenance, protection and/or preservation of the reserve is in keeping with its classification for recreational o'r scenic uses. All people and organisations are invited to submit their ideas on the use of the reserves listed above. These should be sent to the Executive Officer, Ohakune Borough Council, PO Box 30, Ohakune, no later than Monday 10 February 1986.
