Raetihi shopkeepers will be getting into the Christmas spirit the week before Christmas. Saturday 21 December will be a mini fmarket day, with shops open from 9am to 1pm, and good specials are promised from stalls outside every shop. There will be sausage sizzles, lucky dips, quick fire raffles, vintage fire engine rides, a lucky shopper prize and photos taken with Father Christmas. On Christmas E ve, the finals of the Miss and Master and the Baby competitions will be held, and a free movie will be shown at the Royal Theatre. There will also be lolly scrambles, fire engine rides and photos taken with Father Over the next two weeks a $500 Christmas hamper raffle will be run, with tickets limited to 1000 at $1 each: The tickets are on sale in all Raetihi business
