Raetihi junior concert

l ne new emranis class of Raetihi School perform their song From the Christmas Tree' to a packed hall during the school's junior concert last Wednesday.

Raetihi's school hall was packed for the end of year junior concert on Wednesday evening. Each of the five classes performed a lengthy item organised by their teachers and put together by senior

teacher of the junior school, Carol Dean. One class performed a full Maori item while others produced plays and sang. All of the 140 pupils sang group songs and Father Christmas arrived to greet

the children. The school raised $300 at the evening, which was their first fundraising effort towards the purchase of a video next year. The school is also running a raffle for the video funds.
