COLLEGE

Dear Sir, Many of your readers may be aware of the Ruapehu College T ransition programme and in particular the work exploration component. Recently 101 fourthformers have spent one week in a work place of their choice in preparation for their days beyond school. During 1 985 a total of 1 09 employers in the Waimarino have welcomed students. This level of community support for the college and students is outstanding and we are truly grateful to those employers who took part in the programme during 1985 — and to those of you who missed out — lookout, 1986 is not far away! Thank you all. Derek Beisly Michael Warbrick Principal
