In the wedding group from left are: Deena 's father, Dave Scott, John's mother, Joyce Porter of Auckland, bridesmaids Susan Gerring and Jan Bunn, Deena, John, best man Les Porter, page Joel Leef, Deena 's mother Angela Scott and John's father, Albie Porter. Deena and John are staying in Ohakune. Deena started work at the Ohakune Borough Council yesterday as a shorthand typist and John works as a carpet layer and at other jobs.
