Ohakune Hotel summer highlights
More live entertainment highlights are coming up at the Ohakune Hotel. Carter Edwards, known to ma'ny as the Taubmans Paint 'I did it my way' crooner, is also well-known in Australia as a TV, radio, cabaret and commercial star, and he is bringing his own show to Ohakune on 20 November. This exciting country and western show also features Jan Cooper, the 1984 New Zealand country music entertainer of the year. Jan is an accomplished singer who is fast making her name on the country and western circuit. Carter Edwards is a multitalented entertainer who has recently appeared on TV with Billy T James on the New Zealand Showtime Special. Carter has far more talents tHhn are revealed in his paint commercial and sings in a variety of styles. Two other big shows have been confirmed for the hotel according to hotel owner Bruce Leggatt. On 2 December is the
'ladies night out', the 'real thing', Australia's finest male strip ttfase show on tour direct from the Crystals, Melbourne. The three-hour floor show and disco dance is expected to be 'a night of comedy, fun and malfc erotica with a touch of class\
This longest-running of ladies' night shows of its kind, features Italian Stallion — Franco, Patrick Steven, Virgin Prince, Freddie Silver and Steve Stallone. On 20 November the long-awaited visit of the Rodger Fox Big Band is on,
while confirmations are still awaited for Tom Sharplin and the Cadillacs and Jody Vaughn and Gray Bartlett, who will probably perform before Christmas. Christmas celebrations at the Ohakune Hotel are going to be exciting. Don't miss them!
