College work in community

Ruapehu College 3rd and 4th formers will be out in force on Thursday 28 November offering their work to the community. The Principal, Mr Mike Warbrick, said members of the local community were generous in helping the college in many different ways. "This is our way of saying thank you for that support," he said. Mr Warbrick said that almost any work would be appropriate but they would particularly like to help senior citizens, and the disabled, or to assist in service club and council projects. "The pupils have five hours to give — we hope we get plenty of offers,"said Mr Warbrick.
