New Ohakune traffic officer

The new traffic officer for the Waimarino, Ian Harrison, began work last week. Mr Harrison came from the Wellington motorway patrol unit and says this job is a nice change from the busy highway where he has been for two years. Traffic Officer Harrison is originally from Wanganui so is familiar with this area. He began his career 10 years ago in New Plymouth and has spent time on a solecharge station in the South Island. He is very keen on fishing and would like to play squash at the good squash courts he has heard about in Raetihi. He also enjoys hunting occasionally.
