Maternity cases again at Waimarino
Waimarino Hospital is open again for maternity cases after several weeks without full midwifery services. Three midwives are sharing responsibility until one of the full-time midwives,' who is sick, is available again. The whole of the week has been covered except for Thursday nights between 7.30pm and 6.30am when cases must be referred to Wanganui instead. The service opened as from Monday 28 October.
