Inconsiderate or risky skiers at Whakapapa are getting the message in writing. Ski patrol members are handing these cards to the culprits. "Most of the public are good, but there's still a sec-
tion who are just so incredibly selfish about their own activities on the mountain," says park ranger at Tongariro National Park headquarters, Graham Ayres. After their first warning, skiers still behaving inconsiderately have their lift passes taken from them.
