BUILDING WINS AWARD
Waiouru army camp's new officers' mess and accommodation building has won a national timber industry award. The New Zealand Timber Industry Federation last week awarded a merit certificate in the construction category to Belchambers, Low and Associates, of Wanganui, for the building. The striking $6 million mess (right) was opened late last year.
